Get to Know Laci!

The Holiday Session sure came and went super fast!!! I can’t believe that it is a new year, 2019! WOW!!

So for 2019 I have many dreams, goals and a list that goes on and on for sessions! My first goal is to start off the new year and try my hand at adding a blog to my list! This blog will include so many things. One being just simple information about sessions, how to prepare, tips and tricks then I will blog about special sessions, weddings and life events that I will be blessed to partake in helping document! I will post images from these sessions and tell you little stories about the individuals. ((OH GOODNESS I CAN’T WAIT)).

So, let’s get my first blog out there!

• Hi, I am Laci!

  I am a wife to a Dairy Farming Firefighter, a mother to 2 wonderful growing boys, a OU grad who studied psychology, and Labor and Delivery Nurse/Internationally Certified Lactation Consultant who found a love in photography after the birth of my first son! I have always been interested in photography and loved capturing life events, vacations and everything in between. I started with family photography then felt that Newborns and Births are my comfort zones! Within the last year I joined a wonderful program and helped photograph 10 weddings. I learned so many things about the wedding process and reached outside of my comfort zone. I loved every minute of it!

  Being able to capture every life’s special moments is a blessing! I am thankful to be helping document each and everyone for my clients!

  Music and dancing are a daily thing in our home! I absolutely love rap music to country to classic rock! My favorite thing is fishing!! I grew up going to the lake about every weekend (until I started softball then school/competitive cheer-leading) and we fished about 90% of the time. Once summer comes to the end, I instantly start prepping for hunting season! I love hunting with my husband and family! It is a wonderful peaceful time in the woods, patiently waiting for something BIG to make an sneaky appearance.

  Cooking and baking is something I really enjoy when I have the time.
