Muddy Mess
Let them be little. Let them get dirty and let them have fun!!
I love the outdoors and so does my boys! Living on a farm there is no chance that you can stay clean or out of some dirt I do try my hardest though staying clean lol but when you have boys, sometimes they are just boys.
These 2 are playing in is their “fishing hole” that is located in the drive way. It is a rut that has turned into a big hole that needs to be filled. We were outside enjoying the beautiful day and getting away from the COVID new talk. They boys snuck off and I found them sitting in their “fishing hole.” My first reaction was get out of that lol but then I realized quickly that what the heck… make a mess!! I went inside and grabbed my camera!
Documenting their fun time was A joy and cute. They really held nothing back and enjoyed their time. They expressed real smiles and it was enjoyable to see them be free.
It broke my heart when school was cancelled, shut downs began and life as we knew it was totally going to change forever! When this took place it was just the beginning of the pandemic. I had been briefed at work about the creaky possibility of massive changes but little did I know how this would impact my children. They did and so not completely understand the world right now but you know what that’s is okay! I wil continue to let them enjoy home just like normal and of course let them experience mud puddles more often!!
I began my photography journey wanting to document my babies moments. It began harder and harder to capture them. I was posing them and lets be real what child likes mom telling them all the time to smile be still and say cheese! NOT MINE! This little mud fun opened my eyes to a new world of documenting their life!
