Friendsgiving Styled Shoot | Senior Photography in Newcastle, Oklahoma – Laci James Photography
Seniors Gathered Around the Table — Friendsgiving Styled Shoot in Newcastle, Oklahoma
Celebrate fall, friendship, and senior year with this cozy Friendsgiving‑themed styled shoot captured by Laci James Photography, one of the most trusted names in senior portrait photography in Newcastle, Oklahoma. This session wasn’t just a photoshoot — it was a celebration of community, connection, and the joy of being together.
A Warm, Cozy Setting at The Barn at Country Club
Nestled in Newcastle, Oklahoma, The Barn at Country Club provided the perfect backdrop for this fall senior photoshoot — blending rustic charm with open, natural spaces that felt both intimate and editorial. The design was inspired by a Friendsgiving dinner theme centered around authentic, heartfelt moments shared between seniors.
A long table setup — styled to feel like a real meal around friends — was layered with textured rentals and beautifully curated décor that felt lived‑in and welcoming, not overly posed.
Styled Tablescape & Community Vibes
Thanks to Lo & Co. Events – Boutique Event Rentals & Styling, this Friendsgiving table came to life with intentional styling that supported conversation, movement, and natural interactions in front of the camera. Their boutique rentals added cozy fall aesthetics perfect for senior portraits in Oklahoma.
As the girls laughed and chatted, they enjoyed a gorgeous charcuterie board and grazing display by All About The Board, which served as both décor and a shared experience throughout the session. Those authentic moments — snacking, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company — are what give senior photography in Oklahoma such a warm, memorable feel.
Field Portraits with Natural Light & Movement
We also ventured into a nearby field, giving the shoot a completely different energy — still cozy, but wide, natural, and full of soft natural light. This helped balance the indoor Friendsgiving table shots with editorial, movement‑rich portraits that feel timeless and beautiful.
The girls were styled by Ruby K Boutique, whose outfit selections brought out each senior’s personality and confidence in front of the camera — helping create a polished, editorial look that still felt relaxed and authentic.
Senior Ambassadors & Genuine Connection
This shoot was especially meaningful because I experienced it as a senior ambassador for Laci James Photography. Alongside my fellow ambassador Avery Wise and the talented group of seniors — Chloe Longest, Emma Riley, Jaidriana Salas, Grace Todd, Savannah Bolton, Avery Winborne, Adihah Sochia, and Trishlynn Ybarra — we shared laughs, confidence boosts, and creative energy throughout the day.
With no pressure and no rigid posing, everyone showed up ready to be part of something genuine — and that’s what made this session unforgettable.
Why Comfortable Sessions Make Better Senior Photos
What truly made the day special was how Laci creates a comfortable, encouraging experience during every session. In senior photography, that relaxed energy is what helps real smiles, movement, and personality shine through — not stiff poses. Every senior felt confident, supported, and free to be themselves — whether sitting around the table or exploring open fields.
That’s what makes senior portraits in Newcastle, OK stand out — photos that feel like you, not staged.
