I'm not Super Woman, but I am a wife, mom, nurse and memory maker!
My Faith Journey
At the center of my life is my faith in God. It is my guiding light through the ups and downs of being a wife, mom, nurse, and photographer. I believe that God has a unique purpose for each of us, and He equips us to fulfill that purpose in our everyday lives. My faith gives me strength, resilience, and a profound sense of gratitude for the blessings I have.
Through prayer and reflection, I find peace and direction, reminding myself that, “With God, all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). This verse resonates deeply with me, especially as I navigate the challenges of life. I trust that He has a plan for my family, my career, and my photography, and I strive to honor that in everything I do.
Embracing the Chaos of Family Life
Being a wife and a mom means my life is a beautiful chaos of soccer practices, school projects, and family adventures. My days are filled with laughter, love, and the occasional chaos that comes with raising two boys. Whether I’m cheering them on from the sidelines or navigating the ups and downs of parenthood, every moment is an opportunity to create lasting memories.
I love to capture those fleeting moments on camera—whether it’s a candid shot of my boys playing in the backyard or a cozy family gathering around the dinner table. As a memory maker, I strive to document our lives in a way that tells our unique story.
Balancing My Nursing Career
Being a labor and delivery nurse and lactation consultant is a rewarding and fulfilling career, but it can also be demanding. The long shifts, emotional moments, and the privilege of being part of one of life’s most precious experiences can take a toll. Yet, every time I witness the joy of new life entering the world, it reminds me of why I chose this path.
The skills I’ve honed as a nurse—compassion, patience, and attention to detail—carry over into my photography. I understand the importance of being present in the moment and capturing genuine emotions. Each session with my clients feels like an extension of my nursing career, where I help families create memories they can cherish forever.
Finding My Passion in Photography
Photography has always been a passion of mine, and as my boys have grown, so has my desire to capture their childhood. What began as a hobby has blossomed into a thriving business, allowing me to share my love for storytelling through images.
Every family I photograph is unique, and I strive to reflect their individuality in my work. Whether it’s a joyful family portrait or a serene moment between a couple, I’m dedicated to creating beautiful, timeless images that families will treasure for years to come.
The Importance of Self-Care
As a wife, mom, nurse, and memory maker, I often find myself juggling multiple roles. It’s easy to forget the importance of self-care when you’re busy caring for others. I remind myself that it’s okay to take a step back, recharge, and pursue my interests. Whether it’s enjoying a quiet moment with a book, exploring nature with my camera, or simply spending quality time with my family, these moments of self-care are essential to my well-being.
Embracing My Journey
I may not wear a cape or possess superhuman powers, but I embrace the roles I play every day. I’m proud to be a wife who supports her partner, a mom who encourages her children, a nurse who helps others, and a photographer who captures the beauty of life.
As the Bible says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). This assurance fuels my passion for life and reminds me that with faith and determination, anything is possible.
So here’s to all the women out there who are not Super Women, but are incredibly strong and capable in their own right. Let’s celebrate our journeys, our families, and the memories we create together. Because at the end of the day, it’s not about being perfect; it’s about being present and making the most of every moment.
